NanOxy oxygen nanobubble generator
An oxygen-fed nanobubble generator for high dissolved-oxygen duty. Four sizes from 5 to 50 LPM, single or three phase.

What the NanOxy is
NanOxy is our oxygen-fed nanobubble generator. It puts oxygen into water as bubbles smaller than 200 nanometres. Because the bubbles stay suspended, more of the oxygen dissolves than with ordinary diffusers.
Choose NanOxy when the job needs dissolved oxygen well above what air can give, or when an oxygen supply is already on site.
Typical uses
- Lake and pond rejuvenation, where oxygen is the limiting factor.
- Aeration, equalisation and MBBR tanks in sewage and effluent plants.
- Treating irrigation water for turf.
What you need on site
- An oxygen supply with purity above 93% (concentrator or cylinders).
- Single-phase 220 V power for NanOxy 5 and 10, or three-phase 440 V for NanOxy 30 and 50.
- Water inlet and outlet connections of 1 to 6 inches, depending on the model.

Choosing a size
Match the water flow to the volume you need to circulate. A 15 m³/hr unit (NanOxy 10) moves 360 m³ a day if it runs continuously. Larger water bodies use several units. We confirm sizing after a water assessment.
Planning your oxygen supply
The rated gas flow is the oxygen the unit can take at full duty, so it sets the size of the supply you need. These figures are straight conversions of the rated flow in the table, for a unit running flat out:
| Model | Rated flow (LPM) | Per hour (m³) | Per 24 hours (m³) |
|---|---|---|---|
| NanOxy 5 | 5 | 0.3 | 7.2 |
| NanOxy 10 | 10 | 0.6 | 14.4 |
| NanOxy 30 | 30 | 1.8 | 43.2 |
| NanOxy 50 | 50 | 3 | 72 |
Real consumption is usually lower, because units rarely run at full flow all day. We size the concentrator or cylinder supply after the water assessment.
Planning your power
On the nameplate, a NanOxy 10 draws 2.6 kW, which is up to 62.4 kWh over 24 hours of continuous running. Actual draw depends on load, so we recommend metering during any pilot rather than relying on the nameplate.
Optional NanOzone add-on
Where the job also needs disinfection or oxidation, an ozone-fed NanOzone unit can be added to a NanOxy installation. The oxygen unit raises dissolved oxygen; the ozone unit handles pathogen reduction and oxidation. NanOzone is sized to the ozone dose each site needs, so we quote it with your proposal. Ask about adding NanOzone.
Comparing quotes
When you compare a NanOxy quote with another supplier, ask for the rated gas flow, the water flow, the gas purity the unit needs, the power draw at the rated duty, and what the quote includes for installation, commissioning and monitoring.
Where it has run
- Rao Talao, Mira Bhayandar: our ongoing lake project.
- Wankhede Stadium: a NanOxy treating turf irrigation water for 30 days.
- Pirana STP, Ahmedabad: oxygen nanobubble batches on raw sewage at bench scale.
Results depend on the site. Each case study lists what else was used and what the data does not show.
NanOxy FAQ
What is the difference between NanOxy and NanoAer?
The gas feed. NanOxy uses oxygen and can reach higher dissolved oxygen. NanoAer uses ambient air and costs less to run.
Does NanOxy need bottled oxygen?
It needs an oxygen supply with purity above 93%. That can be a concentrator on site or cylinders, depending on the volume.
How much power does it draw?
From 1.8 kW for NanOxy 5 to 10 kW for NanOxy 50. See the specification table above.
Can NanOxy treat sewage?
We tested oxygen nanobubbles on raw sewage in 60-minute bench batches at Pirana STP. Plant-scale performance needs an on-site pilot. Read the trial.
What water temperature can it handle?
Up to 50 °C for all four models.
Is there a warranty?
We confirm warranty terms in each proposal.
Can I run more than one NanOxy on the same water body?
Yes. Larger lakes and tanks use several units, and we can pair a NanOxy with a NanOzone where disinfection is also needed. We confirm numbers and positions after the water assessment.
Is it fixed in place or portable?
Standard units are skids on castors, so they can be moved between tanks and sites for a pilot. For lakes we mount nanobubble generators on floating frames.
